What's wrong with hypergamy?

I would not call it "wrong" until hypergamy gets backed by the state's monopoly on violence, and then guys find themselves hustled out of their house, not able to see their kids, have their income and assets taken, and watch some new dude set up camp in the bed he paid for.

At that point, the costs of hypergamy are being borne not by the person executing on that protocol--the gal--but rather the guy. She can do as she will, but to expect guys to suffer the costs of making the hypergamous switch, well, that is kind of wrong, to my eye.

Since finding yourself in that position--i.e., suffering the burden of hypergamy, while females enjoy its benefits--has become a material risk in contemporary culture for men, you need to take steps to lessen the risk of experiencing that outcome.

Think about it like getting run over by a bus as you cross the street. Be aware that our culture is going to support the bus in running you over. You are going to be blamed for hypergamy running you down on the street as you cross it. Your job as a guy is to keep vigilant, and avoid getting run over, guys. That is all the red pill is saying. But don't bother denouncing the bus for being a bus, or females for being females. Just understand that buses are going to get supported by the state (and you, financially) when they run you over. Don't put yourself in front of buses.

It isn't right or wrong.

It is inimical to civilization because it leaves a great many men sexually disenfranchised, and those on the cusp who waste effort, time and resources in competition that doesn't end because people don't eventually pair off.

"Hypergamy" must be under the control of adult men, because when women aren't, they'll destroy civilization.

It's not that there is anything inherently right or wrong about hypergamy.

It's just that you recognize it for what it is. Understanding the world around you helps you better achieve your goals.

Plus, hypergamy goes way beyond rich/poor

I don't mind hypergamy. One of my plates tells me how all the guys she dates are boring and that they don't make her feel the same way I do. As long as you're on the higher branch it works out well.

My point is, I see hypergamy as a tool to help me achieve my lifelong goal of banging as much young vagina as I can, rather than as a problem.
