You guys know what I’m talking about. You make eye contact with a girl at school/a restaurant/a bar and she walks over and stands in front of you. Usually not face to face but with her back turned it slightly at an angle. She’ll kill her phone out or talk to a friend or something but it’s obvious she wants you to talk to her.

How do you do such a cold open in such a public environment?
