I'm always very loving to him,you could say I'm fluent in all 5 love languages when it comes to showing him admiration and affection. I always try to look my best (im not bragging but I look pretty) and yet I feel like he takes it for granted sometimes.

I do love with the intention of loving without expecting anything in return but what if he's been distant almost all day? When you just crave for something nice back to be said to you too? He only casually hugs me and stuff. Otherwise he's gaming, reading, on his phone, doing work stuff (he's a captain and gets so many phone calls about work all day) so I thought maybe he's stressed from work. I try and make things as comfortable for him as possible. But I don't think he notices.

He shows love to me mostly by acts of service, then touch, then quality time, then communication then gifts.

Also telling him I'd love to hear affirmation more helped for awhile then he just jumped back to being quiet
