We have a lot of major life events about to take place: moving to another state and our wedding this summer. We are 3 months out from our move and 4.5 months away from our wedding (even with a small wedding there’s still a lot of details and coordination that takes place). On top of this I am in school full time, so already having wedding planning on my plate is about all I can handle.

Back a couple of months ago at the beginning of the semester I had asked him to take the lead on the move and get some quotes for moving services. He hasn’t said anything to me about it since then, and it is causing me anxiety to the point that I mentioned it to him this morning: I told him that we’re within the 3 month mark and if he could keep me informed on any updates about the move that it would help with my anxiety. I also suggested that if needed we could hire some extra help we could do that. He seemed very indifferent about this and hardly looked up from his phone as I spoke with him. He got pretty quiet but also said he didn’t like being nagged. Great.

I don’t know if I’m being unreasonable or if my fiancé is dealing with something else, but the fact is that he is not working right now and spends a lot of time on his cellphone. It isn’t as though he doesn’t have the time. His lack of motivation is turning me off and making him less attractive to me.

What advice or perspective do you ladies have on this? I obviously won’t bring it up again for a while but waiting until the last minute to plan our move seems horribly irresponsible and needlessly stressful if we can have it done sooner.

TLDR: Moving out of state in 3 months; Need him to take the lead on it but he seems to have neither motivation or inspiration to do so. Has made no progress in 2 months. Should I be concerned about his leadership?
