This is just my second post, and I discovered TRP only about a month ago, but I have been absorbing parallel knowledge for about two years. These are some of the things I think have learned:

TRP knowledge is like a pyramid. At the base you have PUA literature. The best example is Neil Struass' book "Rules of the Game", unbeknownst to him is more than about picking up women, it is about how to change yourself, hoew to become the best you. The skills learned go deep. You can use them in board rooms, job interviews, and career networking events. These are the skills you need to know to move on as an adult.

In the middle is the knowledge you need to advance. Books like "How to Make People Do What You Want" and Venkat's essay "The Gervais Principle" help you learn the knowledge needed to advance yourself. The advancement is both personal, professional, and sexual.

The top level is reserved for tactics. The book "Influence" and the essay like "Munger's 24 Causes of Human Misjudgment" actually provide tactics for manipulating people. With the skills and knowledge in place, using the tactics becomes child's play.

Have I learned all this? Hell no. I came from a top down approach. It was only recently that I learned how this stuff can all fit together. The key thing is, never stop learning, never stop getting better.
