I was an minor accountant at my parents company like a month ago. For like 2 years and half. They own a small import export business. And I’d be the one sending sending invoices and receiving payments and such. Long story me and my mom got into an argument which led to me being “fired” so to speak. Of course she did it in the heat of the moment. My mom is.... very emotional and intense to say the least. Right away both my parents told me I can come back.

But I didn’t want to. Wanted to get new experience and actually apply and get a job myself. So I applied to multiple place and the easiest one was pizza delivery at Pizza Hut. Got a job 2 weeks later after leaving my parents company. However, since I go to college in the afternoon, I was put into a 11-3 shift (afternoon) during weekdays and was given nights on weekends. On weekends I was making some good money. But nobody orders much on weekdays and especially during the afternoon. So I was getting much in tips. Weekend nights I get about $60-80 on tips alone.

Asked the manager if I can just work weekends, while I work another job weekdays. He said yes without any convincing. I wasn’t really needed during weekdays.

So basically, i went back to my parents business. Things between me and mom have cooled down.

I make $10 an hour there. On average I make $230 a week. On Pizza Hut days, assuming I continue working nights, I should be making $180 on the weekends at the very least on tips alone. Plus maybe $120 from hourly wages. So I should be making AT LEAST $450-500 a week easily.

However having two jobs means less time for hobbies. But again I have college. Thankfully only for a month and half left. But I’ve been having a hard time keeping up with my hobbies like guitar playing and lifting. Especially now since school is intense and been studying and doing project. Should be easier in the summer.
