This is one of those rare cases where feminists are right. Married women trade sex for money and provisioning. In a way they are very very expensive prostitutes.

I've always wondered about what the line between prostitution and 'normal relationships' was. Because a man can easily get a stripper, give her lots of money and have her act like his "girlfriend', or even marry her, even if she's only after his money.

The line is really loyalty. The prostitute has none, anybody can walk in with a stack of banknotes and buy her.

The wife in the old days was understood to be selling her "reproductive rights" to a single man, in an exclusive once in a lifetime deal. It's this legally enforced permanent loyalty to a single man above all the rest that made the wife far more valuable to the man and society, than a random whore.

In order to destroy the troublesome institution of marriage (strong marriages make societies too strong, too difficult to control) it was first of all necessary to "liberate" women, that is, remove the patriarchal enforcements everywhere and turn all women into whores. Next, we work on the men, by removing all their remaining reproductive rights and indoctrinating them to provide women with unconditional support; at a certain point, the government steps in and replaces men completely as the de facto provider and women's reproductive caretaker.

Within 1-2 generations the transformation is complete - there are no more families and the very notion seems like a criminal anachronism. The State controller owns all children produced, and controls which men get to mate with which women. The whole idea of "love" is eliminated. To be sure, there are still biological "men" and biological "women", but once they've been rendered incapable of forming families on their own they stand in relation to the historical man of the past as the domestic chicken in relation to the Great Eagle. No matter how majestic the predatory Eagle was, it was too dangerous an independent, so too it's now time for Man to go extinct; these sickly chickens are exactly the creatues we require, and they should be encouraged at every turn to be proud of their ever increasing docility, harmlessness, suggestibility, and hitherto unimaginable, outright unnatural stupidity.

That's exactly why I don't like to base the definition of "prostitute" on the sex-money trade, but I prefer to consider a prostitute is a woman who likes to have sex with more than one man (that is, a promiscuous woman).
