I just wanted to open this up for discussion because I've seen two different flavors of opinion around here. And its an issue I'm beginning to weigh in my mind recently. First off, I used to hate guys. I was the beta who always sided with the females, not to curry their favor, but because the way their men were acting sounded revolting. These days I understand how that game is played, and while I still have no love for men, because face it both sexes are fucked up in their own ways, I can see through the female bull shit now.

The guys I used to hate most, weren't the cheaters, but the guys who held an iron grip on their women. Manipulative, anti-social, demeaning types. The guys who would forbid their girls from so much as speaking to guys they felt threatened by, or other women for that matter. I still consider this abusive behavior, but something interesting happened with a friend of mine, who I no longer speak with.

Girl I've known for a very long time, didn't hang out with her much, but we kept in touch pretty often because I enjoyed the occasional conversations we had. Anyway, starts dating this new guy, saw them out once, met him, seemed laid back and easy to get along with, until one day he sends me this scathing message over facebook talking about how I needed to back the fuck off his girl blah blah blah. Come to find out he went through her cell phone, and lo and behold she was flirting with her ex and I had nothing to do with the situation.

It leads me to wonder, on the one hand I still despise the guys who offer women zero credit under any circumstances, while on the other hand bitches be try'in to cheat. Always thinking your partner is going to cheat on you, used to be something I saw as a red flag, because the paranoia becomes a contributing factor to the dissolution of the relationship, but now I'm thinkin. I mean going through her cell phone was insecure and shitty, but then again, he was right on the money.

My friend is now voluntarily cut off from talking with any of guy friends, and I've seen this scenario played out over, and over, and over again.
