It's amazing what a little female attention can do to a quiet and reserved guy that doesn't have much of a social support network. I hope for his sake this is a powerful lesson in avoiding being locked down in a relationship. Or at the very least, a constant reminder that you have to be vigilant as a mother fucker in an LTR to maintain consistent frame.

Some women are just retarded. At least the carousel riders are somewhat upfront about it. This is a different breed of stupid (serial monogamy). These women get married and jump on to the next new shiny thing when they get bored without realizing that they will encounter the exact same hardships their previous relationship gave them (finances, etc). No loyalty.

Yeah, I saw this on the front page this morning. Guy seems like a really awesome dude. I wouldn't say he's exactly beta. When she said she wanted a divorce, he was just like "ok." That's pretty baller if you ask me.

Honestly, you just can't trust people. It makes marriage pretty scary. The other guy isn't even alpha. He's been living with this guy, and has to ask him for money. I wouldn't even say she branch swung higher, so why did she do it? Probably because she's just a shitty person.

This story hits in the feels, but he seems like he's taking it in long long strides.

Letting another man move into your house is always a HUGE no-go. Your house is your castle, you are the king of that castle, and letting the king of another castle stake a claim to your castle is a MASSIVE demonstration of lower value to any woman. This guy's wife lost all respect for him when he allowed this to happen.

"Friend" or not, he should have told the guy to sort out his own damn problems with his wife. Now, the friend is fucking HIS wife, in HIS house, and sleeping in HIS bed while he sleeps in his car. It doesn't get more Omega than that.

There's so much better stuff to discuss about this story. It's a waste of time to attack someone providing opinion/content to your own thread.

You're adding as much value to this discussion as a grammar nazi does. If TRP taught you anything, it should be value, so add some value to the conversation and stop worrying about the vernacular I used.

The real thing to discuss is that this is likely not preventable, and no matter who/what/where you are, well all statistically end up in some kind of situation. I'm a starch opponent of marriage at this point, because people want variety. You can never quench that urge, and you should always be worried about if the person you've committed to can quench their urges.

Chances are, probably not. That's why this woman branch swung lower. She just wanted some strange and probably some drama in her boring ass life.

This is really off topic, but I simply have to comment on that. One of the reasons why I'm hanging out on Reddit is to improve my English (my native language is German). And so far I think this has worked quite well, in no small part thanks to countless grammar nazis that have pointed out errors to me. Without them I'm sure I'd still make tons of its/it's errors and stuff like that.

Especially in a sub that's about self improvement I think it should be easy to see the value in that, or am I wrong in thinking this?
