I've noticed since joining FDS that my standard for romance is higher.

What are some examples of a movie or TV show that's solid?

The best I can think of is "This is Us" - lots of examples of men who are basically unconditionally supportive and play a strong role in their family's lives.

I notice I can't tolerate most "chick flicks" or romcoms because the women are pick me or the men are actually doing things I'd consider low value - (dishonesty, insecurity, low effort).
