Reminds me of this guy in my country who won a 20 million dollar lottery prize (~50 million in my currency).

Married a 25-year old younger bitch. One year and a half later, was killed at her orders. Four days before the crime, he confronted her for buying a 200-grand penthouse in a touristic part of the country and threatened to remove her from his will.

Things aren't much different around the world.

Outrageous. Only after her son won £45 million has she had "anxiety and depression". You don't even need to read the insisting drivel, she has her eyes on his fortune and no amount of pleading for pity will reverse her poor parenting. If I moved away from my mum she would be texting, calling and emailing me numerous times a week consistently even if I didn't reply.

I disagree the difference there is the people, on one hand you have the winners in Britain they are generally lower class as they are the only ones to buy lottery tickets, the silicon valley it guys on the other hand are educated and generally know what they want out of life.

doesn't surprise me... the moment you have more money than your family they all come snivelling wanting to be a family again, etc. They have their hands out for a bludge. I plan to cut my family off if I win the lottery, I know they'll all have their hands out. Dodgy "friends" an former classmates do this as well. if you become rich or famous, they all want a piece of the action, they don't give a fuck about you.
