Is it normalizing now? Don't think so. Will it in the future? Probably if the dating situation doesn't improve.

It's undeniable however that women would rather share a high-status alpha and form a harem around him than settle for an individual low quality beta.

Myself and some anthropologists are of the opinion that our society practices serial monogamy. It's really polygamy, but high-status men only get one wife at a time. Low status men get one or zero wives.

In a sense, the number of women you fuck in your life, and their hotness, is completely due to your status. So polygamy is normal and is, practically, how people in western society conduct themselves whether they admit it or not.

This explains why women want some sort of compensation when they fuck high-status men. We're all engaging in a form of polygamy.

Men having multiple female partners was always normal before Christian traditions. Many men died in wars and so few men had to make child with many women if population wanted to maintain numbers.
