It raises some good points but it misses out on points like feminism's intellectual dishonesty.

More than anything I see this as a great example of how much of a difference an appeal to feels makes versus an appeal to logic/facts.

There's the difference between TRP ideology and the MRM. TRP is about the expression of masculinity. MRM is about changing society, making masculinity a choice. Both are well and good, but one of these things will get me what I want today, and the other may never.

I did a little of this stuff in a few of my political economy units in Uni. It's incredibly obvious that real power lies within wealth and those that benefit from the global neo-liberal capitalist system. Just look at the multinational institutional and bulge-bracket banks that effectively got off scot-free from the GFC. Oh, a fine here and there but nothing they can't easily make back in a few months. Real power has and always will lie within monetary wealth because that is what our society uses to barter.

It is incredibly obvious, and academic literature even spells it out, that after failing to bring around le revolution and the fact Capital 'won' (lol), critical theory has sprung up to attempt to analyse social areas in which disturbances/friction can be created within class so as to attempt to 're-revolutionise' the masses to bring about social change. While cultural marxism isn't technically a correct term, that's effectively what is being attempted. I'd just called it sociology these days.

Too bad real institutional power is becoming more entrenched these days with the help of technology, so that critical theory really only hurts the lesser people, mostly men.

This is probably one of the better mainstream responses to this subject. It may not be TRP, but this is an excellent way to word and approach a subject our society wants to ignore. This is something I could post to Facebook and the majority would agree with it in understanding.

One guy mentions how feminism has become a 'polluted term' which he wants to abandon.

This pretty much sums up my view. I'm all for equal opportunities and the power for women to choose their own path in life and get paid equal money for equal work for example. I'd imagine most people agree.

Feminism has become a hideous caricature of itself, one which people are beginning to dislike the look of.
