Man I'm 28 and I learned that shit at age 17, but I still do it. As I've grown older, in many ways the crazy but hot girls have more appeal, because I have the knowledge / confidence to know I can just hit it and next it asap. Whereas as a youngster I was like "huh, so she is crazy as fuck but I don't want to lose someone that hot because I like how cool I look to my friends... oh well, I guess I better go take her out to dinner so that she stays with me!"

Crazy girls are smart too. They know how to hide that shit - because they've fucked every "cool guy" in LA, they know what type of girl the players will abandon their playing for. So they put that appearance forward, and we lap it up, because we long to believe that a girl can be all 3 of the trifecta (hot, smart, and not crazy). It's the hot/crazy/smart ones that are a danger... even the coldest players I know have fallen for a few of them
