If a guy is willing to lie to himself and basically sell his soul for used up pussy, or generally act like a simp, should you avoid forming a relationship with them?

Whenever I see a guy doing shit like pretending to be a woman's friend, or getting into a relationship with a single mom, I feel disgusted and lose respect for him. Am I justified in feeling this way or is this just due to my insecurities?
