You're wrong here. Women aren't attracted to the money per se, the money is just proof that you're a certain type of guy. Ambitious, hard working, intelligent, industrious, all these traits are what women look for in a guy. And obviously if you're a millionaire, you're going to have these traits, well more often than not anyway.

Let's say the guy that built a multi million dollar business from nothing goes bankrupt all of a sudden and loses everything. Yes his SMV might decrease a little but he'll still be an attractive man simply because he has those skills and traits, it'll only be a matter of time before he builds another successful business. So it's the skill set that's attractive.

Now let's say you're a 30 year old dude that still lives with his parents, has no drive or ambition, no qualifications, and plays video games all day, one day he gets lucky and wins the lottery, he is now a millionaire. Will he gain access to better pussy? Sure he would, but he won't be an attractive man because he doesn't have those traits that women typically look for. Women will always prefer person A.

To give my personal opinion on this, the person who develops the skills and traits to build a million dollar business will usually have things that attract women (intelligence, drive, work ethic, etc.) They usually have to develop and become more well rounded as an individual because of that.

Inheriting generational wealth means you were already born into it most of the time so you don’t necessarily develop the attitude or work ethic to establish that on your own. That’s why you see so many trust fund babies live a life of debauchery and stay everlasting teenagers unless they go through a major life crisis (become poor, jail, etc.).

So no, women don’t necessarily care about the journey, they care about how you carry yourself which is usually a byproduct of your journey. The man who fell 99 times and got up 100 times will carry himself with more dignity than the man who fell once and stayed on the ground.

I think it depends on how each holds their frame. Women, don't give two shits about a man's journey. Patrice O'Neal said it best: "Women don't want to win, they want a winner." Meaning, at least to me, they don't care how you got to the finish line other than the fact that you got there first.

I think women just want to fuck the winners. They don’t give a damn about how you won the race but that you won the race. There may be a small percentage that factor in the ethical side, but most don’t give a shit. Play the game right and go for where the numbers are. A woman would rather share an exciting alpha than a loyal beta, and although not every exciting alpha achieved his spot in the male hierarchy ethically, most betas are where they are because they were playing by the old set of books.
