Torn on these 2 books

Let's say you were working on a woodworking project. And you only have room in your toolbox for one item: A hammer or a screwdriver. You can only put one in your toolbox, and the other you have to throw out. Which one would be better to have?

The answer is both. Both a hammer and a screwdriver are used for completely different things. It makes no sense to get rid of one in favor for another. Instead, you should go out and buy a bigger toolbox.

Once I read here that the laws of power applies more in everyday life and dale Carnegie in business. I personally find laws of power a pile of crap and wouldn't bother learning all 48 by heart.

I'm reading How to Win Friends and Influence People right now. If you're feeling a little negative I recommend starting with it. It's definitely already helped me look at people with more optimistic lens.
