Do you have friends at work? Get to know them, they might not be women but they can increase your social circle.

Same thing if you’re in school (doesn’t sound like you are but might be worth mentioning). Even if you’re not in school, look at colleges/universities to see if they have any public events. I got a number from a public Brazilian dance lesson event that our schools International centre was running.

I don’t have any friends at my current job (they’re all significantly older than me) so I make all of mine from classes. I hang out with friends from high school who are in the music scene and they help me meet their friends etc etc. This also doesn’t sound like an option for you since you’ve moved but also sounds like something that might help you.

You could do cold approach if you see the opportunity. I’ve gotten dates from girls I take the bus with to school. (I run into them often and we get off at the same stops so there’s something to work with in the approach). If you frequent a certain place (like the gym or restaurant/cafe) you might have the opportunity to strike up a conversation with someone you’re around a lot. I started a conversation with a guy in the gym change room and found out he plays guitar so we jammed one day and he was able to recommend better whey protein (he was a bigger dude than me). We’re both really busy with school but I’m sure if we weren’t we’d meet with his band, check some local music, and I’d have more opportunities to make conversation and connect with people.

I’ve also met up and became friends with some random mutual friends on Facebook. One is a fun guy to be around and has a certain idgaf personality that I want to learn from.

Also, going monk mode is good and all but it’s boring. From personal experience, it’s hard keeping a conversation going when all you know is sleep, eat, gym, work, school. Try and find things out of your routine to give you something to talk about. New food, new music, new route to work, local places that you want to check out, etc. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy just something that isn’t boring and can help give you something to work with in a conversation if you don’t have any ideas.

What do you do for work?

I would go to the mall, asking 10 girls for their number. If this scares you drive to the next town over. Start with a small compliment:
"hey excuse me, I just wanted to tell you I liked you shoes"

You'll be surprised how women respond. Some might even ask you to hangout.

I have zero experience with women

keep in mind that cold approaching complete strangers requires high SMV, even average won't cut it. Based on your zero experience I assume your SMV is bellow average, which means you'll face a whole lot of rejection approaching strangers and that may hurt your self esteem. I suggest you start improving your SMV, and meanwhile approach friends of friends or girls in dating apps only.

Build some muscle, buy some very nice clothes, get a good haircut and build some experience talking to girls then you could start approaching complete strangers in public places. You can't just skip to fighting the final boss when playing a brand new game.

you should make an effort to grow your social circle as well, so make sure to try to make new guy friends as well. You are at the best age (early 20s) to make life long friends. It just gets harder as you get older.

plus, these new friends will invite you to parties where you can meet girls.
