Is University worth it?

Degrees are mostly worthless unless you are going into STEM/business, with obvious exceptions. I would say go to college if it’s affordable for you if that’s what you want to do. I would reccomend against stem/business majors unless you’re 100% sure you want it because it sets you up to be a corporate bitch your entire life.

I went to uni for my CS degree. I think it was worth it since I learned how to code and other skills. Find something you like doing and will get you big money. If it doesn’t require university degree don’t go, but if it does I think you should do it. Also, i did this degree because i wanted too and although there was a limited amount of fine bitches in my class, I didn’t give a fuck. Women can wait. You should be doing things for you, not for anyone else.

I think university is worth it if you pick the right major. I think you’ve realized that. Finance sounds great, I did engineering and found a well paying job immediately. I think finance will serve you will, especially with your mentality. Just make sure to get an internship before you graduate and work on your public speaking skills as much as possible. I’d suggest joining a club too in order to network.

Women will always be around, a high paying job means you can go out more and find them at clubs or bars. I am speaking from experience even though my field is male dominated.

As far as meeting women in school, it’s true you may not meet as many in your classes especially because they usually choose shitty majors, but that shouldn’t stop you. Make an active effort to go to campus events and parties to meet people and they will still be there.

Doing Civil Engineering (last year) and I gotta say: It is definitely worth it! Why?

I'm way smarter than my parents when it comes down to mathematics, logical thinking. Due to my skills, I solve simpler problems easier and quicker. On top of that, I can basically know a LOT most people don't. Sometimes it blows my mind how low of an understanding of mathematics the average human has. On top of that, I had to communicate a lot with difficult terms therefor my social and talking skills improved tons.
I'm having the fun of my life! People always say university is difficult but let me tell you! University gives you the opportunity to go out, party, easy contact with girls while learning new stuff everday! Uni is simple if you keep up!
When I'm going to work, I got a paper which will give me a higher paying and interesting job than the top percent of the people I was in the same class with 10 years ago. Although in the long run a degree is worthless.

Even though I am going to start my own company, university is well worth it! Uni has been the best time of my life and because of it, the next years are even gonna be better! Anyway, everytime I see dull faced people working in a stupid job I am so freaking happy I am doing uni.

Although in my country we only have to pay 1000 euros per year to attent university. If you have to pay 50K to enroll, then it's a total other discussion. Although if you wanna do a job that requires university, take it!

Go to uni of you're doing STEM or a graduate course like medicine or law. Debt is high for the latter, but job security is pretty good.

Otherwise, no. Go join the military if in the US.

I believe that there's plenty of stuff on the internet that you can easily learn, without spending a shit ton of money.

The REAL purpose of a degree is to convince OTHER people that you've learned something valuable. All the web reading in the world won't convince a potential employer you're actually qualified (Unless you have an extensive shitpost history in that area of employments sub)
