this strikes me as autism, just use your brain. she spilled a bunch of shit and shes trying to clean it up, its ok to briefly hold her purse. if i carried a 1000 dollar phone my drivers license all my bank cards etc in 1 small bag, i wouldnt want to leave it sitting on a table while i crawled around on the floor either

Its not about the request, it's about the intent. You have to use your judgment but if she says it just to make you her little bag boy, then no. But if there's a legitimate reason why (like in your story) then just hold the damn bag. Don't be a dummy.

If she's doing it to be a pain in the ass or for no reason, an easy response is: "eh, it doesn't match my outfit" or something like that
