Hard question. I got back from a 12 days trip recently and done at least 80 approaches during day and night.

Sometimes the mistakes you make are clear, others are not.

Sometimes it has nothing to do with you. So do not obsess over it if you can't find the answer.

You are the prize, you don't give a fuck if you get rejected 10, 100, 1000 times.

Edit: Plus, if you are solo travelling, definitely go to Bar Crawls.

During the "Drink all you can" Hour make sure you chat with all the guys there.

Also, do not ever sit alone in a chair watching your fucking mobile phone. That's the worst thing you can do.

There will surely be some cuties in the group, and if they see you are social and almost everyone is talking to you, you have instant social proof.

What worked for me was a simple line such as "Where are you from?". After 20 mins I talked to over 10 guys there. And beware, I'm actually an introvert. I used to be that guy who was sitting in the sidelines scrolling his phone not a long time ago.

Be genuinely interested in their lives. After they tell me where they from I ask them what they do. I mean, it seems hard, but it's really not. Plus, if you are drinking, it's even easier.
