Is this idea that “one in a million” “ special” “soulmates forever” just a bunch of bull?

I’ve tried being this upstanding nice guy that focuses on romance and “love” but time and time again it has led to depression and ruin.

It has never worked, from women cheating on you, lying to you and not loving you to the same degree you love them.

I’ve realised I would be far more content with keeping a girlfriend/wife for three reasons.

  1. Regular sex

  2. Raising children

  3. Upkeep of the household

Beyond that has led to misery more often than not. Love is an evolutionary trait designed so you stay with your partner to raise the offspring. That feeling of “love” can easily be replicated with any woman and from my experience many people are similar in how they act or behave or share overlapping traits.

No one is really special or unique in this world.
