There was a great post in the main sub about the myth of soulmates, if someone here could find you the link that would be great.

Technically if a girl likes you enough she'll agree with whatever you say or like and that will make it seem as if you both like the same things and share the same interests.

Seems BP101 to me. Remember, you’re focused on your mission and purpose. She needs to be an accessory to that. Part of good screening is making sure the women you keep around fit YOUR mission not hers otherwise you will come off as an orbiter.

With that being said, I will pick up a hobby or interest with a FWB or LTR to deepen the connection so long it is something I’m truly interested in.

RP and mission focus aside, and boundaries over vetting...

the "big 5 personality traits" do seem to have some bearing in when i look around and see couples having add'l conflict in their lives, along with diametrically opposed politics.

yes, if she's submissive enough...

but can't hurt to look out for these if/when you want an LTR:

Openness to experience (inventive/curious vs. consistent/cautious)
Conscientiousness (efficient/organized vs. easy-going/careless)
Extraversion (outgoing/energetic vs. solitary/reserved)
Agreeableness (friendly/compassionate vs. challenging/detached)
Neuroticism (sensitive/nervous vs. secure/confident)

example: a neat freak marrying a disorganized slob, and an intense introvert marrying a die-hard extrovert will both lead to unneeded conflict and friction.
