My advice is to start with “wardrobe essentials” and you’ll have an idea from there

Check out the MFA sub on Reddit and look at the basic bastard post in the sidebar. It’s a good place to get started and build a solid wardrobe.

Starting from scratch, the most important thing is getting clothes that fit so I’d suggest you look into that. Lots of good channels on YouTube that will help you out.

Check out AlphaM and TeachingMensFashion on YouTube as well as the MaleFashionAdvice subreddit.

Don't take anything as gospel, but listen to them on basics about how clothes should fit. Build up your new wardrobe slowly, don't go out in one weekend and try to buy all new things.

Also in store ask the people who work there, they're usually helpful.

Look for some ideas on pinterest. You might not find exactly what's in the individual pins but improvising a little bit will actually teach you what works and what doesn't.
