We've been on the subject of maintaining frame here alot latley. I've been in monk mode for a little over a month and I do believe this helps. My convidence is boosted and overal I feel great. I work in the ethanol industry. I am by far the youngest person in my feild by at least six years. (22) Because of this I am constantly shit tested by the older workers. Today at shift change an older worker accused me of overfilling a tote resulting in a numbers that killed our production numbers. These numbers are important because our bonuses are based around production. A month ago I would have gotten defensive and looked like a beta idiot bowing down. Here's how the conversation went. In front of my crew as well as his.

Co-Worker: I'm pretty sure you over filled the totes but when you do this you have to fill it.... ect. This caused our number to go down and kills everyone bonuses!!

Me: (I stood strait in my chair. Maintained a good posture) Asked how I was at fault and how do we know it was me.

Co-Worker: (My posture startled him showing I was confident) I'm not accusing you but someone filled the totes incorrectly and it wasn't our crew.

Me: I ask if we trended when it was filled last. Did anyone mark it filled after I sighed the sheet ect.

Co-worker: Well I'm not accusing you I was just making sure you know what's going on being the new guy and all. (I've been here 9months.)

I think sometimes we focus on maintaining frame with women a little to much it amazing what can happen when you maintain frame outside of a interaction with a girl. About an hour after when one of my coworkers was talking to me about the whole interaction I realized just how well I made my self look. He went from accusing me to saying he not. I'm horriable at maintaining frame with women because of my 21 years of being a total beta. Having this happen in work today as well as being in monk mode gave me a huge boost in convidence. I belive if you are having trouble maintaining frame with women a good place to start may be in your work place. I feel a boost of confidence because of the outcome.
