Lurker here, first post.

I got a girls number who I always see regurlarly at the gym. She is easily a HB8.

She always throws IOIs my way, and I know for a fact i missed alot of them in the beginning. She would always stare from a distance, the mirror glance, smiled when I walk by her, and when she would finish her workout sets (especially her leg/ass workouts) she would immediately glance in my direction wherever i'd be at in the gym. Submissive signs are apparent as whenever i walked by and glanced a her with a smile she would immediately look down. I saw her trip over herself as she made eye contact with me, smiled and walked my way to use a machine in my area--cute, but awkward as fuck. All of my friends told me this chick wanted in on me just from a couple of indicators, but as a dude dealing with some serious self-conscious issues, i never approached.

But, 5 days ago I finally mustered up some courage to reach out to her in person, joked about her being one of the only girls in there who ACTUALLY works out, and the conversation was great following that initial approach. I got her number and waited 3 days to text her. Texted her and referenced a little inside joke i made during our conversation and it's been a couple days with no response. I'm certain it's a real number since the message was delivered via iMessage. I would say I'm a relatively attractive dude, have had no major issues with other women, usually don't get rejected in person, but i always have an inferior side to me and have issues second guessing my self worth. I've almost pedestalized this girl as she's one of the most attractive individuals at my gym. Actually, i take that back--I HAVE pedestalized this chick as it's forcing me to reach out to my internet friends for advice. But i'm wondering if this chick is playing the busy card back at me or is guininly not interested and gave me her number to avoid bad confrontation--DESPITE all the IOIs and my friends noticing the obvious signs. I wanna say this chick thinks im just like every other guy out there farming numbers and thinks i'm some player and not worth her time.
