How random is this guy? Maybe your dad is choosing in your best interest. I have an orthodox Jew friend who is in an arranged marriage, met her husband three times before marrying and they secretly texted to get to know each other. He is very supportive of her non traditional ways (she's a software engineer ) . They are in love and she's very happy with her husband and three daughters.
