If you mean taxes, sure, then you split what is left after taxes. But that’s not the way it actually goes down.

Here’s how it goes down. Say you have $100,000 in liquid assets. After you pay for her attorney, and yours, you’ll end up with nothing, if not actual debt. If you think I’m joking talk to any man (myself included) who’s been through a bitter divorce when children are involved.

For what my ex and I spent on two attorneys ($180k) I could have paid off my house. Instead two attorneys made a shitload of money. The family court system is broken, corrupt and irredeemable. The fact that there aren’t daily assassinations of family court judges always astounds me. Men leave divorce broke, beaten down and in many cases without their children. I was lucky as I had a support system and a family who could help me out financially.

As a divorced man it would be recklessly irresponsible of me to recommend that any man get married. If you’re trying to be with a woman in 2020 you’re just a fucking idiot.

but if you think about all the taxes you pay throughout daily life (payroll tax, purchase tax, state tax, city tax (some cities)...that money has been taxed already before it gets to your bank account.

Then you must survive with it and make it work with all the cost of living and taxes that come on top of that (car, housing).

Then on top of that you got a harpy spending it all and in the end divorces you taking half of what meager percentage you were saving.

We are serfs and dont even know it.
