We have a lot of threads on maintaining frame, but I didn't find much on maintaining self-worth/confidence so that you: a) respect and value others but still manage to respect and value yourself b) don't need to compare yourself to other men or evaluate yourself in that sense when you are in a social setting c) receive inner validation and feel comfortable in your skin

For example, I personally find it difficult to talk myself up when I feel insecure or threatened without feeling like I'm coming off as fake or arrogant. My response is too polarized... either I am too self critical or self deprecating of myself internally, or I find myself becoming an asshole and convincing myself to look down on whoever I find threatening (something I don't believe in or like to do).

Can we create a list of tactics that work? How to logic/reason with yourself? What to say when feeling insecure or questioning yourself? Ways to maintain frame?

This isn't meant to be a personal question, more like a reference that I think would be beneficial.
