I didn't get laid till I was 20-21ish. Can't remember exactly. As for what you are saying. What is there to recover from? So it took a little longer than most my buddies, that means jack shit now that my numbers higher than most of theirs.

Your mindset and how you think is up to you. I know what the reason was for me not getting laid until that age. It doesn't bother me, actually I find it to be useful/amusing when that question comes up because I can use that for multiple purposes.

What really concerns me is your choice of language. You are trying to paint people who don't get laid in their teens as angry and bitter, why? Some people, wanted their first time to be with someone they actually liked. You know that "first time should be special" bullshit that we were fed as kids.

I was a virgin until I was 25. I was at a convention and they held a charity ball, I figure what the fuck it was Valentine's day and I had nothing better to do so I went. Since then, keep in mind it's only been 10 months, I've had a few lays, I'm doing better with women overall, and in general I've embraced the cocky bastard that I kept buried down because I thought that women didn't want that. Right now I'm on a bit of a hiatus because there is some things that I want to get done. I'm thinking I'll hop back in February and snag a few more.

Who cares, being a little over 20 is no big deal. Most teenagers have no clue what they are doing in bed anyway.

Thinking you have to have done something and feeling dramatic about it just because others did/do it is not the way to go.

No bad feelings, i'm actually glad it happened this way. Instead of having some drunken teenager sex i got to experience sex deeply. Judge it based on your own circumstances, i lost my virginity at age 22 but i never cared much about that aspect. I just cared about getting somewhere romantically with girls i wanted. Sex wasn't something that i understood as real. How can you understand when you never experienced it. It made me blind and my interaction with girls had a lack of purpose because of it. I only wanted to be around her and have that fuzzy feeling, the physical aspect wasn't there yet.

After getting my first taste of it the beast got unleashed. Opening the door to sex did affect my personality. I learned many things from it about myself. There is not much else (except for combat sports maybe) that lets you connect to that animalistic state so deeply. I can definately say i was missing something but it was worth the wait and it came at the right time in MY life. I am glad i had the time to figure shit out and become more mature. I am not a typical guy though, i needed more time than others.

Invest The time you are spending not getting anywhere with girls on yourself. And of course put out hooks to the girls you come across over the years and eventually it will happen as your self worth rises. Hopefully this will be in a solid relationship then, because you did all that work on yourself you should be able to have one. In this loving relationship you can indulge like a madman, make up for lost time and get a deeper experience. Get over your feelings of shame for being a virgin (if you have those) girlfriends will give you more acceptance and room to experiment and grow. Study her and your body intimately, read up on sex techniques and the psyche and apply it. With this gf you have your own test ground to change things up and see what it does. Learn to accept your dominance and get over your nice guy resistance, she probably likes to be strangled and feel a little pain. She wants to be thrown around and she wants you to push past her resistance. Your goal should be to give the strongest orgasms and have her cry afterwards from all those feels. When this first relationship ends you can go out and feel more secure in your knowledge and personal growth with sex than the people you are comparing yourself to now. Quality over Quantity.

PS: most important reason it happened is because i said fuck it. 1) told almost no one
