So you have lazy co-workers who don't pull their weight... They're in every work environment be they a man, woman, young, old, black, white, whatever. Welcome to the work force.

My advice, get a degree in a difficult STEM field like engineering that weeds out the lazy due to the sheer difficulty of the course work. In those kinds of professions you'll get far fewer lazy people than these jobs where the only employment requirement is having a body temperature around 98.6°F / 37°C

Biomedical engineering all the way!

Wait till you get some group projects at University. Same bullshit, you have to do all the work unless you are fine submitting the lowest common denominator ( C grade at best ).

My dad told me long ago 20% of the people do 80% of the work. More like 10/90 but true everywhere.

Use this non-career experience to flex your boundaries -- not your responsibility? Don't do it.

Worst case scenario you get fired from a grocery store.

Clicked the thread thinking this was a field report on Grocery store day-game.

Disapoint.

I love grocery stores because that's always been my favorite place to meet women. Since I prefer the non-party type (and always have), doing my grocery shopping at 7am on Saturday or Sunday was a great way to filter out the losers from the possible winners.

So I thank you for your frozen balls, sincerely.

Also, keep in mind you're probably make OK scrill for the work you're putting in. You're standing instead of sitting, so you are healthier than your cubicle dwelling peers, and you get to meet a lot of gals and practice your cocky confidence on them all.

Today was leg day for me at the gym, the last thing I need is more exercise. But yea, it is a pretty fun work environment for me, temporarily. It's quite an easy place to practice redpill theories.

I could literally sleep for a day straight after leg day.

Lazy, inefficient female coworkers are in every field. Even if you make it to a STEM field, you will find these bitches living off the hard work of men hiding behind the guise of team work. I just fucking hate working with women on a team. All they do is talk about how hard their task is or how much they try to do their best.

[–]MOCKxTHExCROSS2 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I disagree with your critique of women in STEM. I have worked my entire 20s as an engineer. The women I worked with were (almost) all equals in regards to technical skill. My theory is that there is a strong self-selection effect in place, where only the most driven and interested women remain in STEM past college, due to the ease of jumping ship to other opportunities.

You may be focusing too much on process and not results, or early enough in your career where the less skilled women have not dropped off yet.

Some pragmatic advice. Focus on building a solid working relationship with 1-2 women. When time comes to job hop, use these women as your references. The HR departments which handle hiring are almost all women, and therefore, a female reference will carry much more weight than a male one.

Yep, fucking society. Still, I'll gladly do everyone else's work and take their money. At your job that doesn't work too well, but in business that attitude helps.

This has nothing do with TRP.

I can relate dude. Same sort of job while studying, same lazy, entitled female coworkers. It used to piss me off but now I just accept that this is the norm in the industry.

I was actually offered a transfer to the meat department, is it worth the switch?

depends on what the manager is like I'd say. I was 18 and my manager was 20 so we basically spent the whole time talking shit to each other while doing our work. problem was that the older people who worked there disliked the fact that he was a manager/2ic at such a young age, particularly the store manager - a woman in her mid 50s. real old school
