I wouldn't be able to tell the difference but usually you can tell if other women are interested. That's hard to fake.

I knew men who would interrupt every women's action as flirtation and then brag about it. Clearly this is abundance mentality done wrong. It has to be so subtle that it only register to the woman subconsciously.

No, I used to be close with a bunch of real smooth-talking, ladykiller "bros," so I feel like have a pretty good grasp of what good game looks like (and bad game is just easy to spot). I've seen it from all sides.

Like when a guy isn't overly invested in you and has other options, do you think "Nice abundance mentality there buddy" whereas before you might think "ooh he seems to be popular" and "other girls like talking with him, is he that interesting?"

To be honest, I don't think about it, and I don't care much one way or another. My rule of thumb is, "I don't have time for people who don't have time for me." It's a great mantra for making sure you don't let people waste your time. If someone isn't interested in hanging out with/talking to me, I move on.

"Pick up artist" is a derogatory term over here. It's used in much the same way that men use "slut". A man with that term hanging over him, or who acts like he's constantly on the prowl is like a red flag on legs. Guys who are smart arsed, who "neg" and who act like you are a fall back root are only attractive when it's 3am and any cock will do, or if a girl is very naive.

I would probably not know the specific names of strategies and such, but I have a pretty good BS detector can see through a lot of things. Actually, thinking about it, a lot of the "tactics" would probably just turn me off. This is probably why I'm not really a bar/party person...

Some are obvious, like active dread. I didn't have a term for it, of course, but yeah a player is a player ans the whole not that into you/has other girls in the wings thing is obvious. Amused mastery....check I recognize that, as well as A&A. I think trp thinks it's got some cool techniques that are super covert, but many of them come off as exactly what they are, especially if the practitioner is doing work to create a certain set of responses.

When a guy pretends to not be interested, I assume he's not interested. So it wouldn't matter whether he had a natural abundance mentality or a fake one.

Story time, my husband once gave a female acquaintance a ride about 45 minutes away to a club (he and his friends were going). Once there, she treated him rudely so when he wanted to go home, he left, stranding her. Contrary to what TRP would have you believe, this did not result in anything other than her badmouthing him around their friend group.
