After many years working in the finance/tech, layoffs happened due to covid shutdowns. It's frustrating to see the job application process now includes more questions about gender, ethnicity, and even sexual orientation; fkkin nonsense! A few applications even ask what's your preferred pronouns as requirement to complete application submission!

I'm aware of the recent corporate push (esp: in finance/tech/media industries) for diversity over quality; but I didn't think it was this bad. Sometimes I answer I'm a gay non binary trans in an attempt to outsmart the HR screening bots. I also have put 'prefer not to say' as well. So even if you have the experience and talent; I don't think it matters much versus meeting an identity politics based quota.

Thanks for reading my rant; I'll keep grinding away, improve skills, and keep pushing forward the mgtow way.

PS: I noticed several corporate executive titles like, "VP of diversity inclusion" in large finance/tech firms; smh, really?! Your company is investing hundreds of thousands of dollars to someone to remind people in town hall meetings to say "dont be racist" or "be nice to people"; wtf, no sht!!
