We're at a point now where affirmative consent is becoming the adopted standard in some areas, there's the university shit show, and now there's a drafted bill to make holding someone's hand count as coercion. I mean, I'm not saying that all rape is morally permissible. That thing with the knife in the dark alley still seems pretty grim. But like, the definition of rape is just so expanded now and every time I hear about new rape laws, rape gets that much harder to take seriously.
