I think I've come up with a solution regarding the impending PPD survey that will satisfy all. There were generally two groups of people: those who wanted to ask more controversial questions (partner counts) and those that though asking those questions would draw manipulative or disingenuous answers. Both are valid points of view, in my humble opinion. So where do we go from here?

I propose we have two different surveys. The first survey will ask non-controversial demographic questions. The second survey will ask about sexual history and the like. The survey tool I use can see the location of IP addresses (just the general area, not the actual IP address), so we might be able to tell if someone is attempting to manipulate the results. The survey also limits each computer to a single response. However if these fail-safes fail, we can always toss the results of the second survey and still have the results of the first survey to present. Does this sound like it will satisfy all parties?
