I see posts constantly here berating (maybe not intentionally) women about their immature, childish nature - but this stands in stark contrast with how we actually want our women to be.

I'm not saying we want bratty, disobedient girls, but I do think that we need to acknowledge that the feminine, in it's essence, is what we want in a girl - and that those qualities are in close parallel with what we deem as childish and immature.

We don't want a girl whose had to battle the ranks through a corporation, becoming hardened, competitive, and masculine..

What we want is a care-free, jubilant, silly, child-like wonder, goofiness. At least that's what I want..

But the way I read some of these threads on here it seems like we simultaneously dislike these traits, even though to speak otherwise is to want a male companion we can fuck.

We want to tickle playfight, we want to make stupid jokes, we want all of these innocent things that by definition require women to be 'childlike' in their dealings as compared to men. We want our girl to be the one we can eventually open up our own childlike silliness to, stuff we wouldn't want to share with the guys, but stuff we enjoy anyway. If you are true to yourself, you know that in a real relationship you do not have to constantly act like James Bond, sometimes the most telling of how confident you are in yourself is how goofy and childlike wondrous you can be with the world and your relationships with others.
