TL;DR: Dated for two years, was cool. She was submissive and really valued me in her life. Saw her with her new bf and got weak about it, turned her off completely. Deleted her number and blocked her socials after the breakup. She just sent me an email saying she just wanted to check up on me because she's been thinking about me and that I shouldn't hesitate to message or call her.

We started dating before I knew anything about TRP but if I were to rate this 2 year relationship using TRP metrics it was pretty good. She was always submissive and placed such a high level of importance on me she'd often opt to leave her friends and family to spend time with me. After I broke up with her she'd still try for months to rekindle things and get us back together. During this time I learnt about TRP and noticed all the things I'd inadvertently done correctly in our relationship to get her as obsessed with me as she was. When she'd try to meet up with me over the few months that we were broken up I'd often flake because she was so easily available and basically begging me to get back together with her. However this went straight to my ego and somewhere in my mind I'd thought I could do anything and never lose her even if we weren't dating.

As obsessed with me as she was, one night when I went out with a few friends I saw her with a new guy she'd been seeing. Totally didn't expect it, really fucked with the ego I'd built up from months of her chasing me. I handled it as best I could but still felt like shit. She called me up to talk about it and I'll admit I got weak. I'd figured that since she'd already been so submissive in the past I could let my guard down, that she'd be the exception. There are no exceptions though, during this week we'd continue speaking; I became more needy and she became colder and more distant by the day. Totally different person to the girl I was dating, honestly never seen her like that before. She'd flake on me over small things, not answer my texts for hours to days on end, and overall had me chasing her for the first time. Complete loss of interest on her side. The final straw for me was when she'd spent the day with the aforementioned other guy in secret. Again using poor judgement I'd assumed that me being in her life again would mean the other guy was out by default. I assumed it was just a rebound relationship and I'd be able to get rid of him easily. He was totally whipped for her, would do anything to please her and basically the polar opposite of how I treated her when we were together. It was at this point, however, I realised that I was behaving equally as whipped and she was playing both of us like fiddles.

Eventually I told her that it would be better If we stopped talking. I think she genuinely didn't expect that from me, I'd been acting like such a bitch all week. I decided it was best to leave while I still had my dignity and go back to the guy I was before all this drama. Blocked her on IG, deleted her number and genuinely felt better not waiting by the phone for a text back. The other guy stuck around. I'd figured this meant that I'd "lost" her to the other guy but at this point I didn't care and just wanted to get back to focusing on myself. Seemed like the best move whether I wanted her back or not.

Anyway ever since then she's been messaging my brother every now and then asking how I've been. Ffw to today and I just got an email from her "checking up" on me and asking how things are. What should I do here? Ignore or tell her I've been good and take it from there?

Thanks in advance
