When you have everyone ecstatic about “we gain an extra hour” via clocks rolling back (Old farm tradition) is complete bullshit. Then you lose it in spring when is rolls forward. You only gain if the clocks rolled back and never rolled forward in the future. So all in all, this shit just evens itself out. And to top it off, most are saying “gain an extra hour of sleep” in which that mindset you’re digging yourself in a deep hole.

This post isn’t about the stupid ass clocks rolling back or forward, it’s about the mindset in today’s Society when today everyone is thinking “we gain today” (only to bitch in the spring). This post is a CLEAR example of a real life demonstration of dividends & debt.

Now everything you do in life has dividends and debt. Eat Broccoli, on your way to six pack abs. Eat a doughnut, on your way to a doughnut shape body. The broccoli is a dividend to the longevity of your health. The doughnut is the debt.

Hour in the gym. Dividends to muscle. Hour in gaming. Debt for your mental health. Of course not one doughnut or just one hour of gaming doesn’t instantly makes you a 40 year old dude, fat neck beard, living in his moms basement, working part time at the local 7/11- broke incel... But years of just doing that will. Maybe not 5 years, maybe not even 10 but soon after you will get there.

But what happens on the flipside? Minimum 5 hours a week at the gym. Or a high protein and vegetable diet and not a high carbohydrates salt & sugar. Working hard at work, trying to figure out difficult task and not trying to just disregard it and push it to the side.

What happens later in life you’re presented 2 types of males. One that has his shit together, the other one not. One that’s donating money, the other one asking for money. The one that runs 5ks on weekends, the other one that can’t get out of bed until 2pm. One that can handle many different types of females and doesn’t get butt hurt during a break up, the other watches anime porn.

There’s a reason why tons of guys in Chicago drive around with expensive (but not practical) cars and fancy jump suits but don’t have bank account and rent. But you have CEOs in San Francisco that wear a $25 gap outfit- hoping on a public ride share battery operated scooter to the nearest Starbucks, but their yearly cash burn rate is over a mill, and that’s fucking nothing to them.

It doesn’t matter in where you’re from. What matters is your mindset. So while you have everyone thinking they’re getting an extra hour of sleep (debt), get your ass to an extra hour of the gym (Dividends). Because come spring you’re going to lost that hour and today’s the day in which you paid into it!
