I started off with the theory, books, videos, then some PUA reading, then psychology, then meditation, non-verbals, mindfulness etc. I spent all that time, maybe a year, not taking much action and just being introspective. Literally a whole year of non-stop self-work. My goals for this year that are part of my bigger purpose are to deal with my approach anxiety with everyone, be able to find out why I don't have many close friends despite initiating, and deal with my mental demon of not knowing how to get my sexual needs met naturally, like my genes are programmed to.
What I've done and plan on still doing:
(1) Lifting for confidence 3 times a week. Eating mindfully.
(2) Choose a college program that I resonate with and working to get grades.
(3) Having a programming project hobby for my start-up goals, and scouting people to join my team in the future.
(4) Go out usually 2-3 times a week to events when possible, usually to socialize/network and related to my goals.
(5) Therapy and meditation.
What I'm working on now:
(6) Doing the AA program on GLL to deal with my anxiety, while doing approaches in my regular life when possible.
(7) 30 minutes a day on POF (just started this) sending 40 chicks messages, usually getting 4 replies, and so far, 1 number per 4 replies. No date closes yet. But I don't want to give up because I just started. I'm also using it to train not giving a fuck and sending for self-amusement to train that mentality IRL and show myself that rejection for the end-goal is fine, and to not change and become needy from rejection if I know it wasn't a mistake on my end. Also, dates for experience.
Results:
More fit, confident, assertive, self-aware, driven, and grounded. Still introverted.
Haven't dated at all in 5 years. Still have approach anxiety. No friends who are girls either. Only 2 chicks from reddit who I've flirted with on like whatsapp but cut off because I realized the advice they were giving was trash/generic, and I didn't have time to be someone's emotional tampon or casual flirt buddy. It's time-wasting, and even nudes are just an ego-boost that I don't care for.
Still not many friends, and despite being confident, I'm introverted and when I'm grounded I only can speak for 5-10% of the time at most in social groups. I initiate with quite a few people but not many friends (I'll admit I don't have energy for a lot of friends anyways). 2 half-close friends that I talk to once every week or so (barely meet up), 2 really close friends old friends that I talk to once every few months (busy lives), then a bunch of acquaintances or facebook friends that I never talk to unless I see them.
