I decide to do a bit of work on a table in my uni out in the open where the hallway is. A chick sits up in front of me and I consider finishing up my work, then approaching before leving. I was planning on doing my first chill low risk approach and then whatever happened, happened. Well, I'm getting ready to leave and then approach and then before I even get up, a random dude (her bf) comes out of nowhere in front of me and sits down beside her and they straight up start flirting and making out. I swear this journey feels like a movie sometimes. Makes you wonder if those movies where the protagonist transforms are actually pretty accurate and closely based off of reality. The only reason I'm documenting this is because I'm going to get rid of this AA issue and become successful, but I want to come back to posts like these so I can bask in the cringe and ego crushing I experience during and even before approaching. It'll make it all the more worth it afterwards. Jesus dude. I kind of wish I approached actually, despite it being college. Getting a brutal rejection to start things off, or having a convo with the bf walking in would let me realize physically that it wasn't so bad and then be able to take more risks. Fuck. It is what it is. I'll approach again. And fuck this weather is so trash, I don't even feel like approaching. But fuck it.
