There’s a lot of variables that can be at play. Some women like easy yes men; there’s a chance such a lesser man submits to anything she wants and she would rather enjoy those benefits than have a rollercoaster of emotions with a chad who is a lot harder to control. Comfort play.

There’s also the other chance that the guy makes up for this in other areas - you’re forgetting smv isn’t just looks, but game status and wealth. She could see herself as lower value because of something he does or possesses that outranks her.

On top of this, there’s the chance that you’re only seeing surface level and those relationships aren’t actually stable or happy. Girl could be having her cake and eating it too on the side.

Lastly there’s the possibility that based on her past relationships this is what she wants currently which ties into both point 1 and 3. There’s also the chance this guy has potential and she recognizes that, which ties into the smv. Girls rank and rate smv differently so the answer is more gray than you’re expecting.

It's interesting when people say this. I honestly see pretty few relationships where a hot girl dates a whatever guy. But I'm also only 21, so maybe it gets more common when you're older.

In any case, your question doesn't really align with itself. "Do girls date less attractive guys because Chad won't commit." Then you say "hot girls are dating less hot guys." Well, wouldn't those hot girls be able to get a Chad to commit to them? If not, they're not that hot. Yes, yes, they may be sluts or have some other quality TRP guys dislike, but real life Chads who aren't TRP'd don't scout girls the same way.

To answer why a girl would settle below her own looks, there's a few reasons. She may want the comfort, either because she's been pumped and dumped a lot, she's shy, or insecure. He may have once been hot and regressed--she may think he has potential to be better. He may be rich. He may have good game. He may have great preselection in a certain environment they share. She may have been sheltered and not know her own worth. She may have a low sex drive and thus prioritize other things in partners. Could be lots of things.

It can be for a variety of reasons.

It could be the one that you're saying.

It could be some of the others listed here.

It can also be that they realize more attractive guys are more likely to cheat.

In any case they eventually get tired and break up with the guy or cheat on him or something.

100 yes. Often they do. They seek beta males for long-term relationships and marriage because they can control them. Double points if they are financially stable.
