Before capitalism hypergamy existed, sure, but it wasn't as bad because people in the past just tried to survive and would have sex with anyone available.

Now in this era we have money, we work and want to find someone to share our wealth with. The problem with that (for men) is hypergamy. Women get to choose who they get to be with, and the 80/20 rule is true in every extent, in the past and in the present, except in the past it wasn't a viable option because class was a much bigger deal and people only married within their own class. Now with the creation of social media and online dating, the "class barrier" is removed, though it seems it benefits men also, it doesn't.

With class barriers removed, the high class women would never choose a lower class man. But a high class man would choose a lower class women, simply if she provided him with quick easy sexual pleasure. While the non high class women would not go for the non high class men, because why should they when they have access to the most desirable men through their phones? With so many transactions between 80% of women with only 20% men, where does that leave the rest of the population? Feminists, and average dudes/incels.

Average men are not jumping ship and going to MGTOW or full incel mode BECAUSE they choose to swallow blue pill. Average men DO NOT get the girl in their prime, they get the woman after she's been used up, and they have to accept it as "liberating youth." This is because when a women ages she behaves like a guy, with a sense of scarcity, she knows her beauty is fading and in a couple years there's going to be newer and better women around that those Alpha Chads will go for, so she has to tie a man down to not be lonely. And let's say they tie down a good quality women while she is in her prime, probably when she was young, a virgin in high school... These days it's IMPOSSIBLE to trust her, she will message other guys who are way better than you, and she can and will cheat. Cheating statistics for women have evened out with men since the creation of dating apps and rise of social media (reported ones). She will always be told "she missed out", or "she can do better." Only a small amount of people marry their first partner, and have a faithful, healthy, committed HAPPY, relationship

The 1% in capitalism is constantly getting richer and richer, and so does the higher class who are below them. The 20% are only getting richer while the rest of society deal with their hand and live their life, some can't cope, some complain, some just do their thing, but this is reality. Women are in this system too, and they know it, it's all about money, whoever has the most, is highest quality. With access to rich men (attractive or not) through social media, they will easily shoot their shot ONLY for these men. I've noticed how women easily strike up convo with the highest quality men without fear of rejection and full blown confident. I noticed how many of my female friends would strike up convo with the richest and hottest instagram model and instantly propose tothe man to use their body however he desires. But when it comes to a guy in real life they know that is interested in them? "Oh I'm shy, if he wants me he'll make the first move," or "I don't wanna seem easy." Yeah right, lmao. Women know their value and that most guys would not reject them, but they only openly go for men who are worth their time, otherwise they prefer the conservative route. Liberal when it benefits them and conservative when life gets hard.

I don't identify with incels or MGTOW, maybe RP? But I do understand how they see things, simply because it is the frustration men ALL feel on the daily basis, except for some this feeling is continuous and never ending. Some men feel barely any, some men only felt it in their youths, some still continue to feel this frustration, everyman somewhere in their life, has had this feeling of frustration. Capitalism has been going for a while now, and like most systems, they always come to an end from a revolution.
