when you're talking to people and they ask you about what you want in a woman, or what your ideal woman is like, they're NOT asking you about what you would wish for in some hypothetical imaginary situation like that.

unless you find a magic lamp with a wish-granting genie inside, what you would wish for is pointless and irrelevant. the real world doesn't work that way. nothing is free.

in the real world, what you're bringing to the table DOES matter. what's even the point of imagining what you would wish for like that? it's never going to happen. it's just a ridiculous fantasy, and it's probably fucking with your head in a bad way.

the human brain has a hard time telling the difference between reality and the things you imagine experiencing. this can be good if you use it properly; visualization of yourself performing well at something is a very effective way of actually improving real world performance.

but what you're doing when you're fantasizing about this perfect woman you would wish for without bringing anything to the table is basically tricking your brain into thinking it's possible. you're training yourself to have unrealistically high expectations for the real world that are never going to happen.

Dating is economics and trade. You can wish for whatever you want but you're not getting it unless you are also giving someone else what they want.

I think it's more of a practical thing. People kinda want to root for other people. But, in order for them to root for you, they need to feel like you have an actual shot, and a realistic goal. If you just wish for something, but u don't have a plan to get it, it's kind of a let down for the audience... they want you to be a determined hero shooting for that big, but realistic goal.

Thats why they encourage you to develop some stuff you can trade for the high SMV woman. And not just sit there and wish for it. No one likes to hear the guy talking about what he wishes he had but no plan for getting it. It doesnt fulfill the human need to root for another.

Like, if you just want to have a fantasy where you and some daydream wish!Girlfriend are 100% perfect and compatible, knock yourself out, no one can police your thoughts for you. But since you're on a relationship sub, and most people here are talking/debating about reality, and what is necessary to have a relationship in reality, your "daydream" is sort of off-topic.

The fact that i make 2k€ per month does not mean that i cannot wish i had a Porsche 911 for 200k€
