Looking for resources on how RPW can put best foot forward in office/social situations

What have you tried? What are you having difficulty with specifically?

I'm younger/less experienced than you, but I've had success with:

being honest and vulnerable when I feel overwhelmed
always dress conservatively (e.g. something you don't have to adjust or arrange throughout the day - if you feel embarrassed then you shouldn't wear it again)
talking about my (feminine) interests, not hiding them
not shaming men for having desires or male interests, but also pointing out differences between them and myself
recognising when someone else is better for the job, saying so
not interrupting
allowing project leaders to lead, not asking "are you sure?" Or nagging
if I have to disagree, do it very bluntly, in an impersonal masculine way, in as few words as possible
being chatty with everyone, finding out how they are doing
being thankful/grateful when someone treats me chivalrously or in a special way
praising people on the team for achievements
bringing peppy/happy energy, easily excited, doing silly things, making funny jokes or re-enacting things from cartoons/anime even if no one gets the reference
listening/laughing at people's jokes and stories

Some of my favourite girl friends are actually just very quiet, shy girls, who don't talk much (except with me). It's mostly about being a good listener, i.e., STFU. This is pretty much all you have to do to be likeable as a woman. Being good-looking or well groomed helps too.

I'd watch these women closely, noting the actions that make you and others feel happiest, and then think about why that is. Be interested in your friends and colleagues, see them as "whole" people. Be generous about their faults. Avoid any behavior that's false to your real self, especially any meant to produce a specific response. Most people will see that clearly and find it annoying.

Look for articles on “ways women lead.” Harvard Business Review has a good article and so do other magazines / blogs. Women as leaders / CEOs are different from men. They listen more, are more team-focused, encourage participation, and share information and ideas. All feminine qualities and all that contribute to business success.
