I genuinely might cry. Someone actually killed herself, and and these people are using her suicide note to confirm their weird beliefs, asserting that she was in the wrong because "all women are like that," and acting like because of her actions, which only killed herself, all women deserve to be painted with a very judgmental brush? Because one of them drove her to suicide. And then, instead of repentance and trying to prevent this kind of thing, they've turned this on her, where "all women are like that."

The post is no longer there, which is for the best, but even the title is totally faulty logic: "[Isolated incident] proves [huge generalization.]" Um yeah, no it doesn't. No matter what that note contained, it proves absolutely squat.

We are all imperfect people living in an imperfect world trying desperately to make imperfect relationships with other equally imperfect people.

Suicide is a big blinking red sign that a person was broken... Imperfect.

But so is the guy... Imperfect.

And so are all the commenters.

And so are all of us.

...... And you wonder why TRP fails.... Because expectations on what is expected, the perfect girl or guy, doesn't exist.

That's the fucking point of being with somebody.. To be in love, is the recognition that the other is beautifully flawed and yet, somehow you love them. Even better, to be knowingly and brutally flawed, and feel love by another who knows your flaws and despite it, still wants to be near you. It's a small miracle, at least it feels like it when it happens.

You'll never have that if you believe that this world requires a perfection and that people only love perfection. You can complain all you like, but this is how it has been since the dawn of humanity. We are imperfect, we hurt and we hurt others all the time and yet... Humanity goes on.
