I kissed some girl before Christmas break in uni. No other action than that. Took her number but I forgot about her.

Today 8 days after new years she texts me

👀👀 You obviously don't rate me but anyway just wanted to say happy new year

Is it worth replying? Or is it better to just talk when I see her again at uni?

Edit: she deleted her attention seeking salty happy new year message as soon as I started typing to reply

despite this I replied anyway with happy new year, and an invite to hangout. She accepted it, and said, "thanks, even though I deleted the message."
No more replies from me at this point though
