It's great actually. Just like women who write and say "can't handle me at my worst, don't deserve me at my best", both of these people are waving their giant red flags.

Make them easier to avoid as potential partners, potential friends, and in some situation even potential hire.

I hope more potentially troublesome people wave their red flags openly like them.

I think they need to stop acting like badasses and feeling sorry for themselves. Its annoying. Nobody cares that you got a 10 foot long dick or your life sucks.

It does work for some people. Alpha males do exist, and they know how to work a room to their advantage. That’s one thing I think TRP got right, there is just more nuance than strict Alpha/Beta categories.
