I have a plate i’ve been seeing for over six months. We have lots of great sex, and she’s very giving in the bedroom, where I basically have my way with her, e.g unprotected sex etc

A few of her close friends know we hook up but other than that, she keeps our interactions very low key so that other people don’t know (e.g potential suitors).

This works well for me as I can see other people but i’m curious from a psychological perspective (e.g hypergamy) what role I play.

E.g if i’m the alpha is she keeping her options open for a potential beta?
