I watched the first of the Rey led Star Wars, then I watched the first original Star Wars. No comparison. The original definitely aged well. The copycat was in comparison so boring. I can't really hate on Daisy Ridley too much, but she's a boring actress with no personality. She must have confused "bland" with "stoic" when she played Rey. On top of it all she's a big Mary Sue.

I'd rather watch reruns of Kill Bill. And I'm not being sarcastic. At least the Bride has better personality, has a better storyline, actually goes through a training montage, is morally ambiguous (what with killing a woman almost in front of her daughter and leaving her an orphan and cutting the arm off another woman), and even fucks up. In other words, she's actually human, and more relatable.

I can't deny that she was a good enough producer when tag-teamed w/ Spielberg, but what she has done with the Star Wars franchise since assuming presidency of Lucasfilm is blatantly criminal.

I will only acknowledged Rogue One of the newer additions. Everything else was so scatterbrained and made no sense, getting even worse when you know a little bit about the lore.

Mandalorian is good shit from what I've seen.

Stories in general are pretty hard to read nowadays. I kinda want to pick back up a novel I started writing...
