If/when it comes to the SC legitimizing Trump's second term, the Democrats aren't going to admit they lost; they've already primed half the country to think Trump's a fascist, and they'll send the media into full overdrive claiming this is a usurpation of power.

The first term was just a trial run for the crazy and chaos the Democrats and the Elites are willing to bring to bear to stop any true reform, even if it's haphazard and crude; the second term will give Trump the most freedom to act since he's not devoting efforts towards re-election, but for him this will be the most dangerous time in his life, literally, because I'm expecting the Establishment to let loose every lone wolf nutjob they have and then some. If Trump gets through the next term without an overt assassination attempt, I'll be shocked beyond belief, and you can argue that that 'super-spread' event was maybe an attempt depending on how much you want to evoke Alex Jones.

I remember when Roberts was nominated, and the Democrats were saying the world's going to end like they always do; then he went on to be just the kind of activist they wanted, to the point that he helped shape the ACA legislation to jive with the legal code, which isn't really something a SC jurist is supposed to do.

They always bitch and moan that they're so oppressed, when any objective scan of the territory shows that they perpetrate and get away with orders of magnitude more dirt; the recently declassified documents about the Russia hoax pretty much spell it out: the Dems couldn't handle admitting they lost on the merits, so they've spent 4+ years tricking the public into thinking it wasn't really their fault, but everyone else's (except the ones who spiritually bend the knee to them).

I can't speak for others, obviously, but since that tone suggests you're something of an outsider, let me just say this: you don't know jack about me. I voted Democrat solidly until 2018, and I still consider myself a moderate liberal, but I don't have 'brand loyalty' like other people do with politics, not anymore at least. Any negative thing you can say about Trump, I can parallel it with Biden/Harris, possibly worse with the Dems these days; it didn't used to be that way however, wasn't that long ago it was the Republicans who were the intolerant ne'er-do-wells spewing Bible thumping rhetoric, rhetoric that almost makes me nostalgic for how ultimately meaningless it was. I voted Obama twice and voted Sanders in the primary, so I think my bona fides are solid to speak on this issue.

I didn't much care for how the Republicans impeached Bill Clinton; regardless of any valid reason that might've existed, I feel like too much of it was done for partisan reasons rather than any actual impropriety Bill did, and he did a lot of them. If Slick Willy hadn't been careless with how he let his jizz fly in regards to clothing, we'd probably still think the Clintons were solid folk; that having been said, the Republicans didn't do anywhere close a to a clean job on how they handled that impeachment, and just like with Trump, the impeachment didn't matter because the Dems held the Senate at the time.

You don't really have the data necessary to use that broad brush, and you're dismissing things as a dodge around uncomfortable realizations. You know Trump's impeachment was bullshit and on a dumb line of reasoning, but you probably justified it on 'ends justify the means' reasoning. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct the record.

NO party, individual, or institution is supposed to have your blind loyalty in perpetuity; the entire point of an election campaign is to EARN the vote, every single time. For the longest time, that group was the Democrats, but then they went off the rails with social justice and it all started going to shit; in such a toxic milieu, anyone who wasn't preaching that tripe was a port in the storm.

I mean, seriously, why would I give my vote to a party I no longer believe in on any substantive level? Why would changing my position to adjust for changing conditions not be a sign of principle? I mean, pick one or the other. You can’t be mad at him for both. As some one else said, turn of CNN/MSNBC man. The president, I don’t care who it is, isn’t responsible for a deadly virus appearing in another country and spreading here. Do you blame trump for the number of cancer deaths during his presidency too? Is he supposed to cure cancer? Just because 200,000 people died from a virus during his presidency doesn’t mean they died BECAUSE he is president. Not to mention EVEN MORE would have died under Biden’s “leadership” because he didn’t want to close our borders to China as soon as we did.

Proper response: Quarantine, distancing, mandatory masks.

Administration response: Discouraged states from enacting quarantines, called the virus "fake", discredited effectiveness of distancing and mask use, irresponsibly called for "re-opening" while infection rates were at highest point.

Results: 220k deaths and counting.

Unemployment:

Proper response: Comprehensive wage protection plan at Federal level, as demonstrated by other Western developed nations (Germany 65-70%, UK 70-85%, Australia ongoing wage subsidy program, Netherlands 90%, France 84%, New Zealand ongoing wage subsidy program, Spain 70% capped, Finland 80-100%, Sweden 80-85%, etc, etc). Fund states to handle food insecurity, mass evictions.

Administration response: $1,200 and the finger to workers. No wage protection to avoid layoffs. Trillions of dollars for the financial class and billionaires.

Result: ~12.5M unemployed, ~20-30M suffer hunger, unreal food lines, mass evictions. Trillions of dollars fattening the stock market artificially, insane gains for the mega rich, virtually nothing "trickling down" to the workers in most need.

Guess who was made great-er, through trillions in handouts.

Not the blue collar white workers who voted Trump to office.

Caviar for the rich, food lines for the poor.
